Brandon Sweeney founded MS is BS New England Inc., A.K.A MS is BS Dracut Inc. in 2015. What started out as a college assignment, quickly turned into a 501(c)3 non-profit, funding close to $300,000 in grants for Multiple Sclerosis warriors. Brandon saw firsthand the trials and tribulations faced by MS Warriors, as his father (John Sweeney), uncle (Gary Sweeney), and late grandmother (Rose Sweeney 1928-2023) all have MS. So, he decided at 20 years old to raise awareness, raise funds, and make a difference in the lives of those living with MS throughout New England. 

Through their annual 5k, Gala, and Golf Tournament, along with supporter events and numerous corporate donors, their grant program set a movement in motion and provided local MS Warriors with the funds necessary to live their lives a little bit easier.

This feat of course could not have been made possible without the love, support, and countless hours of volunteerism: Brittny Tobey (former vice-president), Lisa Sweeney (former treasurer), Rita Bryand (Director), Regina Tobey (Director), Rachel Tobey (Director), Paige Sweeney (vice-president), Michael Robin (treasurer), and the countless committee members, volunteers, and supporters over the years. Most of these incredible individuals dedicated 10 years of service to MS is BS New England Inc. and touched so many lives along the way.
